U14 Hurling Féile Fundraiser

24 young hulers from O'Donovan Rossa GAC will head off to Tipperary on 17th June to reperesnt their Club, CIty and County in Féile na nGael in the hope of bringing another All-Ireland title back to West Belfast.

There is quite alot of expense invovled in Féile. In order to raise much needed funds, the three team mentors (Paddy Trainor, Brendan Murray & Adrian Murray) have offered their services in return for a £20 pledge! The name of those who pledge will go into a hat, and the winner will receive the following prize valued at £1000

The above mentioned persons promise to provide their services for one afternoon (minimum five hours) to the lucky winner. That's 15hours of highly skilled labour and includes the follwoing services;

Ironing (no bedsheets or underwear!)


Power washing

Car washing

Windows washed

Your afternoon will end with a gourmet meal provided by our award winning Souty hurler, and G&Ts will be provided by our resident gin drinking expert in your newly manicured garden by our experience waiting staff (Rossa House trained 1992-97).

All the while being regailed with storied of endeavours of the '78 Nipper Quinn legends, the 2002 Junior Football championship victory, and not forgetting the 3-in-a-row Joey McGuigan Cup run.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a chance to support our U14s shot at Féile glory.

Friday 29th January

Join us for a quiz evening in the Hunting Lodge at 8pm with a £5 entrance.

Friday 12th February

Centenary lecture and Scór evening in the Roddies with J. McDermott (author of Northern Divisions).

Saturday 19th March

Visit to O'Donovan Rossa's grave including tour of Glasnevin & National Museum of Ireland. (Limited places contact Donal McKinney).
